TOM TRISTANO, AIA, NCARB
A native of Chicago, IL, earned his degree in Architectural in 1979 from U of I, in Chicago. He worked on design teams for large A/E firms in Chicago early on in his career gaining experience with high-rise construction and hospital projects. In the 1980’s he served as a lead project manager throughout the US on numerous manufacturing, schools, and telecommunications projects for international design build firms. Tom is a registered architect, member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), NCARB certified permitting him to serve throughout the Midwest.
In his long history at Prairie Forge Group, Dave has mastered the art of project scheduling and phasing. He excels at complex phasing schemes which allow a building to remain open and operational throughout construction. The result: negligible interruption to the people who inhabit the building during construction. As Vice President of the company, he has not lost sight of the importance of comprehensive project management.

Senior Design Architect
Rob is an architect and designer with impeccable attention to detail. As a designer who is conscious of both environmental considerations as well as client needs, he creates functional buildings and spaces for each individual client with sustainable practices in mind. With a talent for programming and space planning, Rob starts the project out on the right foot with the ability to follow through to construction documentation and administration processes for a complete architectural project.
REBECCA B. STRADER, AIA, NCARB
Senior Project Architect
Rebecca is a registered architect and supports each project with her CAD expertise and design knowledge. She is involved with design reviews and charettes and assist with permit and construction documents, material selections, and interior-finish recommendations
LEANNE M. BLAIR
Leanne’s experience in architectural programming, design, cost estimating, and construction documentation makes her an important member of the design team at Prairie Forge Group. Leanne also contributes to graphic presentations and building modeling for client visualization and understanding.
BEN BERCHER, AIA, NCARB
Ben is a registered architect and is involved in supporting the design efforts and needs assessment throughout the project. He supports the design team with site planning, concept plans, and building renderings. He coordinates in-house efforts on any matters regarding Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Structural, and Civil areas with other PFG staff architects and cost estimators.
John joined Prairie Forge Group in 2003. He has extensive experience in field coordination of existing facilities. He understands construction and project scheduling, and has a concentration in renovation projects of all types. John brings hands-on construction experience gained from his professional career in construction to our construction management team. In the field, he has been engaged in various aspects of building design and construction management.
Kayla has been at Prairie Forge Group for two years. She has a Master’s Degree in Architecture and now is working towards licensure. At PFG, she has experience on a variety of projects in both private and public sectors. She also has experience in pre-design, design, and construction engineering documentation. She supports the team by helping with schematic design and construction documentation through the use of programs like Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Ryan is a Junior Architect and has been at Prairie Forge Group for over a year. He is starting his Master’s Degree in Architecture and working towards licensure at PFG. Ryan’s experience in architectural 3D modeling makes him a valuable contributor to Prairie Forge Group’s design team. Not only does Ryan contribute with his experience in Revit, AutoCAD, and Construction Documentation, he also is a member of our marketing team utilizing his skills in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Sue handles project administration: maintaining insurance information, change orders, pay requests, and waivers for the projects that she is involved with. Sue also is a part of the marketing team and helps edit and produce the proposals.
Debbie has over a decade of experience in the industry with her expertise specifically in site work, utilities, and underground projects. Debbie is responsible for contributing to cost estimation and assisting with the quantity take-offs and budget options as required in a project. In addition, Debbie oversees the accounting department. She handles all billing, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. Additionally, Debbie handles our human resource needs. She keeps Prairie Forge Group running smoothly.
